No, we’re not drunk — not right now, anyway. There really does exist, out the in the world, a 1984 Toyota Celica Supra Boss 302. Meaning someone plunked a 302 cubic-inch mill into a 1984 Toyota Celica Supra.
The “Boss” moniker is a Mustang reference that might be a bit of a stretch, but there is a 5.0-liter engine from a 1988 Mustang under the hood.
The transmission is also Mustang-related — it’s a Borg Warner 330 five-speed manual, which is actually an upgrade over a stock Mustang five-speed from 1988.
The car has a custom dash and the seller says it runs well. The outside looks clean from photos, though the sunroof doesn’t work — and the seller was planning on welding it shut anyway.
Apparently there are only 700 miles on this build.
