No Reserve: 50k-Mile 2002 Porsche Boxster S for sale on BaT Auctions – ending July 2 (Lot #198,870)

This 2002 Porsche Boxster S was sold new in New York and has spent the last 20 years registered in California and Arizona. Now indicating 50k miles, the roadster is finished in Carrera White over Savanna Beige Partial leather and is powered by a 3.2-liter flat-six paired with a five-speed Tiptronic automatic transaxle. Features include the Sport Package, Porsche Stability Management, heated seats, a Black soft top, 17″ Boxster S wheels, a hi-fi sound system, and a Kenwood CD stereo with Bluetooth. The seller purchased the car in 2024 and has since added approximately 300 miles. This 986 Boxster S is now offered at no reserve with a clean California title in the seller’s name.

The car is finished in Carrera White with a power-operated Black soft top as well as a speed-activated rear spoiler, side air intakes, and roll hoops. The Carfax report notes that the left side and left rear of the car sustained “minor to moderate damage” in September 2013 and that repairs were performed on the left rear the same month. A piece of the left-front headlight reflector is missing.

The 17″ Boxster S alloy wheels are mounted with Falken tires. The car was ordered with Porsche Stability Management (PSM), and braking is handled by red four-piston Porsche-branded calipers fitted over cross-drilled rotors at all four corners. The ABS module was rebuilt in February 2025, according to the seller

The mid-mounted 3.2L flat-six was factory rated at 250 horsepower and 225 lb-ft of torque. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a five-speed Tiptronic automatic transaxle. The seller notes that the oil was changed, and the battery was replaced in June 2025.

The Carfax report notes the aforementioned damage entry and at least one recall.
